Located at Minokoshi, the trailhead of Mt. Tsurugi (1,955 m), one of Japan’s 100 Famous Mountains, this craft brewery stands at a remarkably high elevation — a rarity even nationwide. Using the ultra-soft water of sacred Mt. Tsurugi, the brewery creates craft beers that highlight the water’s naturally gentle character while embracing the unique climate of this mountainous region.

Each batch is brewed in small quantities with meticulous care and an uncompromising dedication to quality and flavor. The lineup features a diverse range of styles — from richly aromatic brews and beers with deep, layered bitterness to light, refreshing varieties with a smooth finish.

Rooted in nature and local resources, the brewery produces distinctive beers that reflect the spirit of the land. These include beers crafted using thinned cedar wood and others created in collaboration with local sake breweries. A portion of the proceeds from beers made with thinned timber is donated to nonprofit organizations, reflecting an ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and community support.

The brewery also features a gallery space, and visitors can observe the brewing process through glass panels, offering insight into the craftsmanship behind each bottle.
