石臼でそばの実を挽くところから始まる、昔ながらの本格的なそば打ち体験をお楽しみいただけます。体験は専用の工房で行われ、室内サンダルと三角巾、腰エプロンの貸し出しもあるため、手ぶらでの参加が可能です。祖谷そばは、かつてお祝い事や人が集まる場で振る舞われていた、おもてなしの料理。美味しいそばの条件は「挽きたて・打ちたて・茹でたて」の“三たて”にあります。体験では、この三たてが揃った状態で、祖谷そばを味わえるのが最大の魅力。体験中に作るそばは約4人前で、その場で茹であげた一部をお食事の際にざるそばとして楽しみ、残りはお持ち帰りいただけます。体験後は、趣のある座敷へ移動し、ご自身で打ったざるそばと、山菜や地元食材をふんだんに使用した「平家御膳」をあわせてご堪能ください。時期によっては、山菜の収穫や下処理体験も可能で、採れたての山の恵みを味わうことも可能です。(※山菜の収穫体験は季節や天候、山菜の生育状況によって実施できない場合があります。) ランチのみのご利用も可能で、その場合は温かいかけそば(祖谷そば)でお楽しみいただけます。※そば打ち体験および食事は完全予約制です。予約は前日までにお願いいたします。 ※ざるそばはそば打ち体験に参加された方のみお召し上がりいただけます。
