Iya Bijin is a hidden inn nestled in the Iya Valley, with a total of 9 rooms with open-air baths. The Shigaraki-ware ceramic open-air baths warm the body from the core and offer beautiful views of the Iya Valley. The benefits of the hot springs include relief of neuralgia and muscular pain, skin beautification, relaxation and stress relief, and promotion of blood circulation. There is also a restaurant where guests can enjoy special Japanese style kaiseki meals using local ingredients and our famous Iya soba noodles. Guest rooms include Japanese/Western-style rooms and detached suites, all of which offer a panoramic view of the valley. All rooms are also equipped with an open-air bath where you can enjoy Iya Onsenkyo's free-flowing hot spring water. The Vine Bridge and Biwa Falls are also conveniently accessible, allowing guests to enjoy the luxury of being surrounded by nature during their stay.
