Right next to the Awa Ikeda Bus Terminal! The name “Souvenirs & Cafe Kukuru” was derived from the word “kukuru” in the Awa dialect, which means “to tie” or “to connect” between visitors and locals.
The store offers a wide variety of local specialties and products, including the famed Iya soba noodles, tea grown using Nishi-Awa’s unique steep slope agricultural systems at certified World Agricultural Heritage sites, sweets made from grains that have been cultivated in Iya for centuries, and cakes from popular local confectionery stores.
The café also offers lunch, light meals, and beverages made with local ingredients. Please feel free to stop by!
